Eorann is a Solicitor at Luqmani Thompson & Partners and has been with the firm since September 2017. Eorann qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales in September 2019. She is dedicated to promoting proper access to justice on behalf of clients, rigorously challenging public authority decision-making to contest for fair and successful outcomes.
Eorann maintains a busy caseload, covering a wide range of immigration, protection and human rights matters and related public law work. Eorann represents vulnerable clients including unaccompanied minors, individuals with mental health needs, trafficking and domestic violence survivors and victims of torture and human rights abuses. She has developed a successful practice in asylum applications, fresh claims and Tribunal appeals. Eorann represents children subject to age assessment and dispersal, and in disputes regarding provision of local authority support.
Eorann is available to take on both private and legal aid funded matters in the full range of immigration applications. She has experience advising individuals and local authorities on the EU Settlement Scheme, and on applications under the Immigration Rules.
Eorann holds a Classics degree from the University of Cambridge. She completed her postgraduate law studies in London. At Cambridge she was awarded the Walter Headlam prize and the Jasper Ridley prize. In December 2020, Eorann was elected to serve on the Executive Committee of the London Irish Lawyers Association (LILA).
