Founding partner of LTP, Jawaid Luqmani, has been appointed to the Law Society’s Access to Justice Committee for a three-year term.

The Access to Justice Committee plays a vital role in the work of the Law Society to improve the quality and availability of justice. The Committee examines the challenges faced by individuals in civil and criminal cases and engages in policy discussion and debate with the aim of improving the justice system for all and in particular, for those in marginalised groups. Their work includes entering into negotiations with the Legal Aid Agency and government departments, such as the Ministry of Justice, and supporting practitioners via advice, lobbying and practice notes.
